Erika Ulloa is my favorite retablo artist on the Novica website. I already have a nativity retablo by this artist that I will display through the holiday season. But this piece spoke to me the minute I saw it. The beauty of the ceramic figures, the fine detail in decoration, and the stunning vibrant colors all called to me as an artist. Ulloa's portrayal of Catholic symbolism in Christ's Passion is powerful and moving. Added to it is the overall charm of Andean flora and costume. It will have an important place in my religious art collection.
Perfect. A beautiful symbol of faith. Just the thing I needed to make my new apartment my new home. Downsizing is hard but this little virgin fit right in. I will. E purchasing two more of the same size. Artistry is amazing. Love it
I received this packaged in a very secure manner. When I opened the package, I was surprised the Retablo was wrapped in a very nice paper in an inner package. The bow that was wrapped around the package had a small handmade figure of an Andean. A nice card signed by the artist (?) was included. The Retablo itself is a very magnificent work of art. The details are just amazing. I can't think of enough words to describe how great this is. It will be placed in a prominent place in my house. Thank you.
"In every one of my creations I hope you will be able to recognize my great love for this art form."
