Handsomely blending the traditional and the fashionable, our wool V-neck sweater is a complex patchwork of some of the most famous Aran Islands stitches, each steeped in symbolism. The cable stitch represents the fisherman’s rope, bringing safety and good luck to its wearer and the trellis stitch represents the patterns of the small stone-walled fields, offering protection from the strong island winds. Made in County Mayo, Ireland.
This traditional Irish sweater is beautiful. The wool is a great and lasting grade. What I liked most was the slight V neck. It gives a modern feel to the familiar patterns. I couldn't be more pleased
