Wayan Weta combines aesthetics and functionality in the design of this earring display stand. Carved by hand of jempinis wood, the sinewy branch features seven lush leaves with discreet perforations for the earrings. The tree holds twenty-eight pairs of earrings. The artisan names the stand Daun Salam, which means "bay leaf."

This is a functional piece of artwork! It is beautiful and so well made. I love the wood. The leaves rotate to make it easier to place earrings. This is such a unique, beautiful piece.
I bought the 7 leaf model. Each leaf can hold 4 pairs of earrings with plenty of space for them to dangle. It is well made and attractive with a sturdy base.
This tree is both functional and attractive. I like to touch the smooth wood, and I like to be able to see all the earrings at once. Also, it adds an amusing note to my dressing table.
at the beauty of this piece. It came so carefully and securely wrapped--the packaging itself was impressive. But when I finally unveiled the earring holder, I was truly amazed at the artistry and the size of the "tree." It holds a lot of earrings and it is a statement piece on my dresser. I love it.
This is a beautiful piece of art that changes as earrings are added. No more searching through drawers and jewelry boxes to find "the" pair on any given day! Life is good!
First off - I usually do not review products, but I was so impressed by the craftsmanship of this earring holder that I had to rate it exceptional! (especially for the price)
I will definitely purchase more items from NOVICA because of this experience.
Thank You for sharing your talent!!
I just love my beautiful new earring holder, it is well crafted, beautiful, and makes finding my earrings a snap. I am so happy with it, it is a work of art, thank you
This is an elegant piece I would have paid much more for. The wood is gorgeous and the workmanship is awesome. Looks wonderful on my dresser, and is a great way to keep track of my earrings! Thanks, Wayan!
I bought one of these and was so impressed with the product that within a month I purchased a second one. This earring holder is a high quality, functional, and BEAUTIFUL piece of art! Wayan Weta is highly commended for his excellent work which carries over to the way he packages the item for immaculate arrival. It holds both dangle and stud earrings with ease. I am truly enjoying the two displayed on my dresser and the ease of access to and holding of ALL (probably too many) of my earrings as well as a few necklaces and other jewelry accessories. This piece would make a GREAT gift for any earring wearer that has many earrings. (For one with less earrings, he makes a smaller version.) I usually prefer function to beauty. In this earring holder I get both as it is a most beautiful and very functional product! Thank you, Wayan Weta!
This is a lovely, soothing addition to my room. The leaves can turn to different angles, or fold up against the trunk. It is perfect for storing my earrings in a nice quiet display. Beautiful workmanship and looks very nice in my house.
The attention to detail on this piece is amazing! Holds any type of earring and displays beautifully. Wood is lightweight and solid base so items doesn't tip. Leaves fold so able to move them should you want or need to.
Highly recommend!
Would love to see same product in a smaller version to accent this piece.
I did not have a sense of how tall this item was from the pictures online. I was so happy so see the true size and the craftsmanship of this item when it arrived. It is just beautiful and, or course, so practical. I finally have a place to put all my earrings in the same place.
"My name is I Wayan Weta, born in Ubud on May 4, 1974. I'm married and we have two daughters and a son. My children make me happy, they give more spirit and bring me more responsibilities in life. My father and most people in the village where I live are wood carvers. I learned to carve wood statuettes when I was in elementary school. After school, I carved the very simple elephant statuettes and from then on, I focused on elephant statuettes only, which lead me to build my shop.
"Eventually I decided to move from elephant themes to designs with a display purpose, since many times we encountered difficulties in delayed large orders with our elephant statuettes.
"I want to create something different to the traditional themes coming from Ubud. So I started carving sculptures designed solely to display jewelry. I work with traditional tools and jempinis (Chinaberry) wood with a glossy or burnt finish.
"I work with the help my family and also other wood carvers. Though I am a master carver, now my main job is to design and quality control while my wife does the marketing.
"I hope that by joining Novica my sales will increase so I may expand my shop."
