Saeed Musah of Ghana presents a design of West African origin, masterfully hand-carved from sese wood and featuring a rustic beard crafted from natural raffia. Its name, Monifa, means "I am lucky" in the Yoruba language.

"Great Mask, Very Exotic !"

The jute accent appears to be natural Raffia Palm, but it looks very nice nevertheless. Over all, it was a good purchase. The appearance of the mask most definitely imparts both the primitive and the refined at the same time. Well done !
